This is an on-site, full-time contract opportunity supporting hospice patient care across Northwest Arkansas. Apply with a current resume for consideration.
Pay: $54.00 to $56.00 per hour
Type: Three Month Contract | Travel RN
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekly Guarantee: 32 Hours
Location: Fort Smith, AR 72903
Primary Responsibilities :

Provide skilled nursing care and hospice support to patients in home settings throughout assigned coverage areas

Coordinate and manage patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary hospice teams

Perform patient assessments, medication management, symptom control, and documentation

Educate patients and family members regarding hospice care plans and treatment goals

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

Participate in back-up on-call rotation as scheduled

Travel throughout assigned counties including Sebastian, Logan, Crawford, Franklin, Scott, and Yell

Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

Follow infection control, patient privacy, and safety protocols at all times

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications :
-
Active RN license required
-
Prior hospice, home health, or related nursing experience required

Strong assessment, communication, and patient care coordination skills
-
Ability to work independently in a field-based setting

Current BLS certification preferred
-
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
