Deliver Post-Operative Critical Care

Collaborate Across Surgical Teams

Partner with surgeons, anesthesiology, APPs, and interdisciplinary teams

Communicate effectively in high-acuity, time-sensitive situations

Educate patients and families on post-operative recovery and care plans
Support a Flexible ICU Team

Adapt quickly to varying patient assignments and acuity levels

Maintain strong teamwork in a dynamic SICU environment

Follow LHMC protocols, policies, and the ANA Code of Ethics

Support regulatory compliance and readiness
Maintain Clinical Excellence

Practice using evidence-based surgical and critical care standards

Maintain ICU competencies and clinical readiness

Participate in ongoing education and skill validation

Qualifications
BSN preferred
At least 1 year of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required
Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred
Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
Pay Range:
$37.00 - $95.37
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
