- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
- ThisRegistered Nurse(RN) is a specialized ambulatory care nurse, defined as a nurse who provides episodic care to patients for 24 hours or less in many different settings.
- The RN cares for patients before and after same-day surgery and some patients undergoing outpatient procedures.
- They also use cost-effective ways to assist patients in promoting health, preventing disease, and managing chronic or acute health problems.
- Finally, the RNpromotes self-management and assists family members or friends in caring for their loved ones.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- 1+ years’ experience working as a Medical Surgical Nurse.
- New Jersey RN license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing.
