Terms of Service
Last Revised: 7 February 2026
Welcome to RegisteredNurse.jobs (the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by JobWow Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 14909247). Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or posting content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
Binding Agreement: These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and JobWow Ltd (“JobWow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
Authority: If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms and that you accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Accounts and Security
Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Unauthorised Access: You must notify us immediately at contact@jobwow.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
We reserve the right to disable any username, password, or other identifier, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any provision of these Terms.
3. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
This section applies only to employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, and other business users purchasing paid services on the Platform, including job postings or subscriptions (“Paying Users”).
All paid services on the Platform are provided strictly on a business-to-business basis. By purchasing any paid service, you confirm that you are acting in the course of your trade, business, or profession, and not as a consumer.
Fees: All fees are specified on the Platform and are charged in USD (or such other currency as we may specify at checkout), unless otherwise stated. Fees may be updated from time to time. Any fee changes will apply from your next billing cycle unless otherwise communicated.
Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle on a recurring basis, unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account settings; however, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current paid period and you will continue to have access to the subscribed services until then.
Refund Policy: Due to the immediate nature of digital advertising and data access, all sales are final. No refunds or credits will be issued for partially used periods, unused job credits, or change of mind once a service has been initiated.
Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes (including VAT, sales tax, and similar charges) arising from your use of the Platform and any purchases made, except for taxes based on our net income.
4. Employer & Recruiter Posting Rules
All employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, and intermediaries (collectively, "Employers") must comply with the following:
Legitimacy: You must be authorised to recruit for the organisation or end-client advertised.
Accuracy: Job listings must be for genuine, current, and specific roles. “Bait-and-switch” listings, fictitious roles, or posts intended solely for “talent pooling” or lead generation are strictly prohibited.
Transparency: You must not misrepresent duties, compensation, benefits, work arrangement (Remote/Hybrid/On-site), or requirements.
Compliance: Employers are solely responsible for ensuring listings comply with all applicable laws, including (where relevant) US federal/state laws regarding Equal Opportunity (EEO), wage transparency and pay disclosure, and any other applicable employment regulations in the jurisdictions where you recruit.
We may remove any job listing or suspend Employer accounts that, in our reasonable opinion, breach these rules or create legal or reputational risk for the Platform.
5. Use of Candidate Information
Purpose: Candidate data (including resumes/CVs, profiles, and contact information) accessed through the Platform may only be used for legitimate recruitment purposes directly related to the role(s) advertised or similar roles for which the candidate might reasonably expect to be considered.
Data Protection: Employers and recruiters act as independent Data Controllers of any candidate data they download or otherwise process. You agree to comply with UK GDPR and any other applicable data protection and privacy laws, including relevant U.S. federal or state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, where applicable).
Prohibited Use: You may not sell, license, transfer, or use candidate data for unrelated marketing, solicitation, or upload to third-party databases without a lawful basis and, where required, valid consent.
Security: You must implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect candidate data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. You must not request highly sensitive personal data (such as Social Security Numbers, national insurance numbers, or bank details) from candidates through the Platform.
6. Prohibited Use of the Platform
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems (including bots, spiders, or scripts) to scrape, index, or harvest data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security-related features or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform, except to the extent permitted by applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
- Post, upload, or transmit any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence.
- Introduce malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or any related systems.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities as required by law.
7. User Content and Intellectual Property
Ownership of Your Content: You retain ownership of all content, data, and materials you upload or submit to the Platform, including job listings, company profiles, logos, and other materials (“User Content”).
Licence to JobWow: By submitting User Content, you grant JobWow Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence (with the right to sublicense to our service providers and partners) to host, store, use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Platform and to provide services to you.
This licence continues for as long as your User Content is stored on our systems. We may retain backup copies or anonymised/aggregated derivatives of your User Content for a reasonable period after deletion or account closure for security, compliance, and audit purposes.
Your Warranties: You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, consents, and permissions to submit the User Content and grant the licence above.
- Your User Content does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights of any third party.
- Your User Content, and your use of the Platform, complies with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
JobWow IP: All rights in and to the Platform, including its design, look and feel, software code, databases, and trademarks (including “RegisteredNurse.jobs”) are owned by JobWow Ltd or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you in or to the Platform or its content.
We reserve the right (but are not obliged) to remove or disable any User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or creates legal or security risk.
8. Disclaimers
“As-Is” Basis: The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions (express or implied), including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
No Agency or Guarantee of Outcomes: JobWow is not an employment agency or staffing firm. We do not vet or endorse employers, candidates, or job listings, and we do not guarantee candidate quality, application volume, or hiring outcomes. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any employment, contracting, or business arrangement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected within a particular timeframe.
9. Limitation of Liability
Non-Excludable Liability:
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indirect Damages:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobWow Ltd shall not be liable for any:
- indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages;
- loss of profits, revenue, business, or anticipated savings;
- loss or corruption of data; or
- loss of goodwill,
- arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statutory duty, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Liability Cap:
Subject to the paragraph on non-excludable liability above, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform (whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) shall be limited to the greater of:
- (a) the total amount of fees paid by you to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- (b) £50.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobWow Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your User Content;
- your recruitment, employment, or contracting practices; or
- your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws or regulations.
Your indemnity obligations apply only to losses and costs that are reasonably foreseeable consequences of the matters described above and shall not exceed an amount that is fair and reasonable in the circumstances.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may, in our reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Platform (including paid services) immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have:
- materially breached these Terms;
- engaged in fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct;
- harmed, or are likely to harm, the security, stability, or integrity of the Platform; or
- created legal or regulatory risk for JobWow Ltd or other users.
For non-material breaches that can reasonably be remedied, we will (where practicable) provide you with written notice and a reasonable period (typically 14 days) to cure the breach before terminating paid services.
Effect of Termination:
- Upon termination, your right to access the Platform and any associated services will cease.
- We may, but are not obliged to, make certain data (such as invoices or job posting history) available to you for download for a limited period (e.g., 30 days) after termination, after which we may delete or anonymise such data, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as accounting or fraud prevention).
- Candidate data that you have downloaded or otherwise stored outside the Platform remains your responsibility as an independent data controller.
Termination does not affect any rights, obligations, or liabilities that have accrued prior to the date of termination, including payment obligations and any indemnities.
12. Dispute Resolution
If any dispute arises between you and JobWow in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations between individuals with authority to settle the dispute.
If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of one party giving written notice of the dispute to the other, either party may propose that the dispute be referred to mediation in London, England, using a mediator appointed in accordance with the CEDR Model Mediation Procedure (or such other procedure as the parties may agree).
If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days after the mediator has been appointed (or such longer period as the parties may agree in writing), either party may commence court proceedings in accordance with Section 14 below.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from the courts at any time.
13. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms (other than an obligation to pay money) to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by events, circumstances, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters, fire, flood, or explosion;
- war, terrorism, riot, or civil commotion;
- epidemic, pandemic, or public health emergency;
- governmental or regulatory actions or restrictions;
- labour disputes (excluding disputes involving the affected party’s own workforce where the party could reasonably have avoided or resolved them);
- failures or outages of internet, telecommunications, or hosting services not under the party’s direct control; or
- widespread cyberattacks or denial-of-service attacks.
The affected party shall:
- notify the other party as soon as reasonably practicable of the Force Majeure event;
- use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.
If a Force Majeure event continues for more than ninety (90) consecutive days, either party may terminate the affected services under these Terms on written notice to the other party.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Governing Law: These Terms and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction: The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation, subject to the dispute resolution process set out in Section 12.
15. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and JobWow Ltd in relation to your use of the Platform and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or arrangements, whether oral or written.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver: Our failure or delay in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other right, power, or remedy. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
Changes to These Terms:
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice (typically at least 30 days) before the new Terms take effect, for example by email and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform. The “Last Revised” date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
