2. Scope and Eligibility

Minors: The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Third-Party Controllers: When you apply for a job, the Employer or Recruiter becomes an independent Data Controller of your information. This policy does not cover how those third parties use your data once they receive it.

3. Personal Information We Collect

A) Automatically Collected Data: IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (city/region), and usage data (clicks, searches, and time spent on site) via cookies and GA4. B) Account & Profile Data: Name, email, password (hashed), and any professional details you provide (Resumes/CVs, work history, certifications, and licenses). C) Special Category Data: We do not intentionally collect sensitive health data. However, if your resume contains information regarding disabilities or health-related certifications, you explicitly consent to us processing this for recruitment purposes by uploading it. D) Employer Data: Business name, contact details, and job posting content.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

Operate the Platform and route your applications to Employers.
Secure the Platform against fraud and "bot" activity.
Analyze site performance via Google Analytics 4 (configured with privacy-first controls).
Communicate essential service updates (we do not send recruitment outreach via WhatsApp or SMS).

5. Lawful Bases for Processing (UK GDPR)

Contract: To provide the job-matching services you requested.
Legitimate Interests: To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve our services.
Consent: For the use of non-essential cookies (managed via our cookie banner).

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use a cookie consent manager.

Essential Cookies: Required for site functionality (e.g., staying logged in).
Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics 4 to understand user behavior. We use IP anonymization and modern privacy controls to ensure data is protected during transfer. You can opt-out via our cookie banner.

7. How We Share Personal Information

Employers/Recruiters: We share your profile and application only with the specific entities you choose to engage with.
Service Providers: We use trusted vendors for hosting, email delivery, and security. They process data only on our strict instructions.

Correction & Deletion: Ask us to fix or erase your information.
US State Rights (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "sell" your data as defined by California law. You have the right to opt-out of "targeted advertising" and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
UK/EU Residents: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.
How to Exercise Your Rights: To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, please email contact@jobwow.com with the subject line "Data Privacy Request." For your protection, we may require you to verify your identity (such as by emailing us from the account associated with your profile) before we fulfill your request. We do not charge a fee for this service.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard technical measures (encryption, firewalls) to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure; you use the Platform at your own risk.
