Job Summary and Responsibilities
Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) features 40 beds, including 16 private rooms, eight three-bed pods and 4 private isolation rooms designed to permit 24-hour parental stays. We provide specialized care services such as:

Neonatology coverage inhouse 24/7.

Invasive monitoring

Whole-body cooling, which can be initiated during ground transport

Comprehensive ventilation modalities, including high-frequency oscillator ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide

Telemedicine capabilities for participating hospitals

Our dedicated team of RNs and RTs for the ground transport of critically ill neonates in our specialized neonatal ambulance.
As a full time night Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.
Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.

Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.

Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.

Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.

Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership.

Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff, ancillary personnel and mentors students in a constructive and positive manner. Serves as resource to staff from other nursing departments.
We are offering a $15,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements
Required:

Minimum 1 year RN experience in Level 3 NICU

Current California RN License

Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
