Position Description: RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Surgical team at St. Joseph's Hospital . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph's Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. The Cardiac Surgical unit is a step-down / PCU unit that receives post-surgical open-heart patients once they are stable from their CVICU stay.
The RN responsibilities include:

Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

Professional accountability and development.
-
Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:
Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
-
ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred
Education:

- 6 months of RN experience is required.
