Job Summary and Qualifications
Conducts day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program working with the Lead and Department Director. Partners with Exercise Physiologist and program medical director to provide high quality Cardiac Rehab services to patients.

Writes or obtains initial nursing histories, assesses patients' conditions and develops individual care plans; maintains patient documentation.

Notifies appropriate physician regarding any unusual or unexpected events or problems requiring direct physician consultation.

Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility.

Read telemetry strips to determine abnormal rhythms
-
Oversees medically monitored exercise program

Participates in education programs to reduce cardiac disease risk factors
What qualifications you will need:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
-
Current Alaska RN license
-
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course (ACLS) and Certification
-
A minimum of one year of direct nursing experience in cardiovascular and pulmonary service line (Cath Lab, ICU, ED, etc.)

Prefer 3-5 years of prior Cardiac Rehab experience
