Description:
This position is responsible for performing procedures included in the annual health assessments, drug screen collections, mask fit testing, and other pre-employment testing as required. The incumbent will manage infectious exposure follow-ups as well as administering first-aid and various immunizations programs to the staff of Saint Agnes Medical Center. This position interacts with and creates an impression for new hires and existing Saint Agnes colleagues and volunteers. The incumbent is responsible to positively and proactively greet and welcome patients. The incumbent is the expert at providing excellent customer/patient services in person and via the phone. The incumbent must work collaboratively with all colleagues, patients, and visitors, in support of direct patient service, exhibiting flexibility, embodying a "can do" attitude. This position is responsible to accurately manage documentation and logs, supports and covers the administration functions and answers the telephone, directs calls, and takes and distributes messages. This position may also schedule patients, including gathering pertinent information for patient registration and tasks associated with treatment authorization. This position will manage communications with department leaders or designees and communicate due and over-due required testing or immunizations in accordance with Saint Agnes policy and procedures. These duties are to be performed in a prompt, friendly and accurate manner while maintaining confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS

Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California is required.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

One year clinical experience, preferably in Staff Health Services is required.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and oral and written communication skills are required.

Pay Range: $28.22 - $39.53
