This frontline leadership role focuses on supporting staff, strengthening communication, and ensuring safe, patient-centered care in a high-acuity maternity setting.
What you will Do:

Employment Type/Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift (Flexible based on need)

Lead and support L&D nursing staff and charge nurses in daily operations

Ensure safe staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments

Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback

Address employees concerns with respect, fairness, and transparency

Foster open, clear communication across the care team

Communicate changes, priorities, and expectations with clarity and consistency

Oversee patient flow and throughput in a busy L&D unit

Support adherence to AWHONN/ACOG standards and best practices
-
Monitor quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safe care delivery
Qualifications
-
RN License (Maryland or Compact State)
-
BSN required (MSN preferred)
-
3+ years Labor & Delivery experience
-
1-3 years leadership experience (Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager)
Compensation
- $41.46 - $64.31/hour (base salary equivalent)
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location .
