The Hawai'i Pacific Health Emergency Room Training Opportunity is for experienced Registered Nurses who would like to transition to a new area of specialty or for the new graduate nurse who would like to pursue becoming an ER nurse. This program is designed to create an environment that provides the experienced and new nurse support through the transition process from student, to novice, to advanced beginner, to independent practitioner. The program will be 20 weeks in duration and will require a two-year work commitment upon successful completion. There will be no time away (PTO) allowed or granted during the program. Must be available for rotation to night shift and any shift length (4, 8, 10 or 12 hours) during the training program.
