Job Title: Registered Nurse - Infusion and Home InfusionJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic hybrid role, working both in our Columbia, MD infusion suite and as a Home Infusion Nurse. This position involves direct patient care, where you will be responsible for performing intake, administering infusions and injections, and documenting in the Electronic Health Record. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Responsibilities

Assess and document the health status of patients, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history.

Prepare patients for infusion or injection and deliver treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines.

Ensure patient care is accurately documented in the Electronic Health Record.

Maintain a clean and disinfected environment after each patient use.

Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.

Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.

Reinforce patient and family education regarding disease processes and treatment side effects.

Collaborate with clinical and front desk staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Assist with audits and regulatory functions.

Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers regarding order clarification, patient status, and plan of care.

Work at multiple facilities within the market as needed.

Use the nursing process to care for and educate individuals in promoting and maintaining health.

Coordinate and manage aspects of infusion nursing care as ordered by the physician.

Deliver care in collaboration with the patient, their family, and all members of the healthcare team.

Submit required documentation of care within the required time frame, including initial assessments and patient education.

Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and communicate urgent clinical findings in a timely manner.

Maintain annual competencies and ensure privacy, security, and confidentiality of patient, staff, and organizational data.

Foster a non-discriminatory work environment where care and services are delivered in a socioculturally sensitive manner.

Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong work ethics to meet goals and provide stellar customer service.

Travel to assigned territory as needed with flexibility to meet patient needs.

Assist with On-Call responsibilities as needed.

Display a neat, clean, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Understand confidentiality with respect to proprietary and patient/client information, complying with all federal and state laws regarding confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
Essential Skills

Excellent IV skills.

Experience and strong familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Proficiency with standard office software applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications.

Exceptional active listening skills.

Current, active, and in good standing registered nurse license in the state of employment.

Current BLS CPR certification.

Work Environment
The position primarily involves working in the Infusion Suite located in Columbia, MD (90% of the time), with occasional home infusion duties (10% as needed). The role requires a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $93600.00/yr.
