Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in a long-term care setting, Watertown, New York. Start date: June 29, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Document care and medication administration in the eMAR system (PointClickCare)
- Monitor patient status, assess vitals, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and participate in rehab plans
- Perform basic nursing procedures (wound care, injections, charting) within scope
- Maintain patient safety, infection control standards, and effective communication with the care team
Requirements
- Current New York LPN license
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
- BLS (AHA) certified
- 1–3 years of LPN experience; SNF/LTC or sub-acute rehab experience preferred
- Ability to work on a sub-acute rehab floor in a long-term care setting
- Proficient in using eMAR systems (PointClickCare) and communicating effectively with the care team
