Location: El Monte, CA
Pay: $30-$35 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
School Year: 2026-2027 (with potential for earlier start)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support students in a school-based setting. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with children and are looking for a consistent weekday schedule with evenings and weekends off.

Position Overview
In this role, you will provide direct 1:1 medical care to assigned students throughout the school day. You will collaborate with school staff and families to ensure each student receives safe, consistent, and supportive care in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized (1:1) care to assigned students during school hours

Perform skilled nursing tasks, including G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and medication administration as delegated

Monitor seizures and assist with diabetes management

Support students with developmental delays and complex medical needs

Maintain clear and professional communication with school staff, families, and Amergis team members
Requirements

Active California LVN license
-
Current BLS certification
-
Experience with pediatric patients preferred, but not required

Strong reliability, patience, and adaptability

Willingness to learn; training provided for school-based protocols
