Job Summary
The Nursing Manager will oversee the Care Management team. Supports and assists the Executive Director of Clinical Operations in providing 24 hr. resource management services including utilization management, social work, case management and discharge planning. Assists in the selection, development, and corrective action of staff & holds them accountable for & recognizes their contributions to quality outcomes. Maintains full responsibility to assure customer & physical satisfaction is achieved & makes day to day decisions.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and patient safety requirements.

Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements to exceed expectations.

Lead performance improvement initiatives and benchmark outcomes.

Maintain accurate documentation, including services and charges as applicable.
Financial & Strategic Management

Develop, manage, and maintain departmental budgets with minimal variance.

Optimize resource utilization to improve financial performance.

Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

People Management & Development

Recruit, hire, orient, and retain highly qualified staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and maintain development plans for all direct reports.

Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and enforce policies fairly.

Physician & Stakeholder Relations

Build strong, collaborative relationships with physicians.

What You Will Need
Education & Licensure
-
Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Knowledge of healthcare and nursing management practices that are normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Nursing Degree.

Master's degree preferred

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Indiana)
