Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic - NP/PA - Join a Growing, High-Performing Team
MercyOne Genesis is seeking a highly motivated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Walk‑In Clinic team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy and fast-growing orthopedic program by providing immediate access to high‑quality musculoskeletal care for acute injuries and urgent orthopedic concerns.
As an advanced practice provider in our walk-in setting, you'll manage a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and APPs, and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experience. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys autonomy, and is passionate about orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, etc.)

Perform procedures such as splinting, casting, joint injections, reductions (as appropriate), and wound care

Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab work

Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and specialty teams to coordinate ongoing care

Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment plans, activity restrictions, and preventive care

Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the EMR

Support the walk‑in clinic's commitment to efficient and patient‑centered care
