The ideal candidate is a clinically confident Nurse Practitioner with recent inpatient experience who enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care. Providers will manage and round on a diverse adult patient population while supporting continuity of care and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
-
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
-
Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing management of cardiovascular patients

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies

Develop and implement treatment plans

Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care

Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR
Minimum Requirements
-
Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure
-
Certification through a nationally recognized accrediting body (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)

Specialty certification as required by client or state regulation

Minimum of one year of NP experience preferred

Current CPR/BLS certification if applicable

Ability to meet all client credentialing requirements

Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications

Prior inpatient cardiology experience
