Join an established team of 17 Neonatologists and 30+ APPs

Practice setting: Inpatient (Level III & IV NICU)

Access to Neodata and Sunrise EMR systems, a state-of-the-art building with 109 private room NICU beds, specialized surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical services, and a dedicated small baby program

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), Physician Assistant (PA) with a NICU residency, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with a NICU residency

Eligible for Indiana state licensure and DEA registration

Provide advanced direct medical management and stabilization for a diverse population of newborns and critically ill neonates, performing complex specialized procedures including intubations, umbilical lines, PICC lines, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis/chest tube placement, and circumcisions.

Attend high-risk deliveries to manage immediate, complex critical needs of newborns, and actively serve as a key member of the critical care ground transport team directing state-wide neonatal stabilization and transit.

Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing or physician assistant studies required; at least 1 year of clinical experience in a Level III or IV NICU is preferred

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
