Job Description
Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a PRN Plus Speech Pathologist to join our team!
Provides prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, management and counseling services to clients with speech/ language, cognitive-communication and /or oral-pharyngeal sensorimotor impairments. Plans directs and conducts habilitative, rehabilitative and counseling programs to treat impairments involving verbal and written language.

8:00- 4:30 Minimum requirements: two weekend shifts a month (can be a full weekend or split between two weekends). Participates in the holiday and hard to staff rotation

Evaluates patients after impairment, injury, or disease.

Creates an individualized patient-centered treatment plan based on evidenced based practice and selects appropriate interventions based upon evaluation and assessment of patient.

Re-evaluates and provides periodic reassessment of patient progress and contributes to discharge planning.

May supervise treatment provided by students and assistants.

Participates and makes recommendations for client care interventions to the interdisciplinary health care team.

Delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided.

Provides timely documentation per department and/or entity policy and as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirements, and physician treatment plan.

Uses professional judgment to ensure safety to self, patients, and others at all times.

Performs all other duties as requested by manager.

Job Requirements
Applicable Experience:
Less than 1 year
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Cert Clinical Competence-Speech/Lang - American Speech Language Hearing Association, Speech Pathology - Various
Bachelor's Degree
