Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL and Local experienced LPN Psych nurses in Goldsboro, NC!
Position: LPN Psych
Shifts available:
7a-7:30p, 36/48 EOW
Contract Length: 16 wks
Number of Openings: 4
Start Date: 6/1
Interview: Facility will call and do an over the phone interview
Facility Info:
Skilled nursing facility, more like a LTC with Neuro Developmental patients Very Nice layout, about 3-4 patients per tech, hallways consist of 12 patients other techs will be on shift to assist along with RN's Very nice facility compared to other skill nursing facilities around. After offered will have to go to facility to see Employee health, to do paperwork to get copies of any medicals that HCP has etc. Will have to take place before starting. First 4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 4 WEEKS.
Orientation Schedule is M-F 8a-5p
Must have lived in NC for the last 5yrs
ONLY 3 DAYS OF RTO APPROVED PER CONTRACT
The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.
The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.
Minimum Requirements:

Current LPN license in state of assignment

1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

Current CPR if applicable
-
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
