Job Purpose:

Supports the Nurse Manager in coordinating daily operations across inpatient units on the 3rd and 4th floors

Serves as a clinical leader, resource, and role model to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care

Promotes staff development, operational consistency, and performance improvement initiatives
Scope of Role

Provides coordination and leadership across multiple inpatient units (3rd and 4th floor)

Ensures standardization of practice, communication, and workflows across both units

Serves as a primary clinical and operational resource for staff and leadership

Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred
Professional Experience Requirement
- Two years relevant RN experience; Charge Nurse/Preceptor experience preferred
Licensure/Registration/Certification
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and BLS certification required. ACLS within 1 year. Chemo certification preferred.

Continuous use of medical/clinical equipment such as IV pumps, monitors, ventilators, oxygen tanks, patient beds, etc.
