Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Position Overview
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support Camp Nonesuch , a 5-week summer program serving approximately 100 students in grades 6-12 in Weston, MA.
This is a dynamic school nursing opportunity in an active camp environment, offering both clinical care and student engagement. The camp runs through August 14th , with a possibility to extend into the next school year for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Provide general school nursing care to middle and high school students

Manage diabetes care , including blood glucose monitoring and insulin pump support
-
Administer medications and respond to medical needs (including EpiPen use)

Support student health and safety during activities such as archery, athletics, and boating
-
Collaborate with camp staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment

Follow all established health plans and medical protocols
Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
-
Experience with pediatric and/or school-based nursing preferred
-
Diabetes management experience required
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promoting the health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic conditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis' philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment

Bachelor's Degree, preferred

School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
-
One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
