Provides patient, family and staff education using adult learning principles; supports onboarding and development of new staff and students

Develops individualized plans of care and communicates clinical needs across the care team

Maintains accurate, timely documentation to support quality and continuity of care

Actively participates in shared governance, quality improvement and evidence based practice initiatives

Ability to provide age appropriate care based on principles of growth and development

Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, problem solving and application of the nursing process

Physical ability to perform job duties, including mobility, lifting, standing and manual dexterity
Education & Experience
Licensure & Certifications

Current RN license or temporary practice permit in applicable state or compact state

BLS or CPR certification (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
-
Graduate Nurses must complete RN licensure exam within 6 months of hire

National certification preferred
