Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer
Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, 10-hour days. No weekends, holidays or evenings!
Pay: $49.50 to $51.50 an hour
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
· Accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care
· Supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family
· Function within the clinic to include accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients
· Provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts
· Delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources
· Evaluates unstable or complex patient care situations and facilitates appropriate intervention
· Possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects
· Responsible for educational instruction to patients and families with health care needs
· Evaluates effectiveness of patient and family teaching and makes documentation in patient's charts
· Other duties may be assigned as required
Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:
· Associates degree
· Active and good standing RN license in Washington
· Current BLS and ACLS certifications
· One year of experience within operating room (ambulatory surgery center OR hospital outpatient department)

Pay Details: $49.50 to $51.50 per hour
