Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Night Shift

Position Overview
This Certified Nursing Assistant opportunity offers a stable overnight schedule in a long-term care setting where the focus is on providing consistent, hands-on support to residents during evening and overnight hours. The role is well suited for CNAs who prefer a structured night routine and are comfortable working more independently while still collaborating closely with nursing staff.
The facility maintains a straightforward workflow, allowing CNAs to focus on patient care without unnecessary complexity. This position provides an opportunity to step into a reliable schedule, build consistency, and work within a supportive long-term care environment.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)

Hours: 36 hours per week

Includes weekdays, every other weekend , and every other holiday
Work Environment

Long Term Care / Senior Living setting

Structured, routine-driven night shift workflow

Focus on resident comfort, safety, and overnight care needs

Team includes RNs, LPNs, and CNAs working collaboratively
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing, dressing, and toileting

Repositioning and mobility support

Monitor residents throughout the night and report any changes in condition

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment

Document care activities as required
Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing
-
CNA experience preferred, but not required
-
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to meet health and background requirements

Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working overnight shifts
