Join UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the PACU, where you'll play a critical role in caring for pediatric patients recovering from surgery and procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Be part of a high-volume, collaborative unit recovering 50-70 patients daily from the OR, Procedure Center, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Interventional Radiology-caring for 1-2 patients at a time with close partnership alongside anesthesiologists

Schedule designed for balance and variety:

(2) 10-hour shifts per week with rotating schedule

Majority daylight hours: 0600-1600, 0700-1730, 0730-1800, 0800-1830, 0830-1900

Minimum Experience: 4 years of RN experience required for Expert level

Education: BSN preferred

Professional Development:

Annual completion of a professional contribution aligned with department, hospital, or system goals and approved by the Unit Director
-
One of the following required:
-
UPMC-approved nursing certification within 1 year of hire/transfer (must be maintained), OR
-
Master's in Nursing or DNP (certification not required), OR
-
If BSN is held, a Master's degree in a related field may substitute for certification
-
