Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an ER Flow Facilitator RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to be responsible for the overall movement of patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position will facilitate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse and attending to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:

Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.

Work in conjunction with the ER providers and admitting physicians to determine the appropriate admission status and level of care.

Facilitate and foster communication, patient flow, staff support, regulatory compliance, care coordination, transfers, and policy and process development.

Coordinate care delivery within the organization.
-
Identify process gaps, coordinate change strategies, and assist in implementation of change management.
Job Requirements:

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
-
3+ years of experience as an RN in an ED setting required
