As a Professional Staff Nurse, you are a vital member of the Behavioral Health care team, responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. In this role, you'll use your clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaboration to support patients and their families throughout their care journey. This casual position offers the flexibility to tailor your schedule, giving you the ability to balance work with your personal commitments while continuing to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and Relationship-Based Care to create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment

Develop and implement individualized care plans that address clinical, psychological, social, and safety needs

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Build strong, compassionate relationships with patients and families to support recovery and positive outcomes

Participate in quality improvement efforts and contribute to enhancing patient safety, satisfaction, and care delivery

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and colleagues to provide holistic behavioral health care

Educate patients and families to support understanding of treatment plans and transitions of care

Support a positive team environment through accountability, flexibility, and collaboration

Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Adapt to changing unit needs while maintaining a commitment to excellent patient care

Minimum 1 year experience.

BSN preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
