Position Purpose
The Nurse Supervisor is a designated clinical leader responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing patient care operations within the Acute Cardiac Unit. Working in collaboration with the Department Director, this role ensures high-quality, safe, and efficient care delivery while promoting staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and service excellence in alignment with Trinity Health's Mission and values.
What You Will Do

Full-time 36-Hour Night position

Provides clinical and operational leadership for the Acute Cardiac IMC Unit during assigned shift

Coordinates patient care delivery, staffing assignments, and daily workflow based on acuity and census

Supervises nursing and support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices

Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements

Participates in development and implementation of patient care standards and evidence-based practices

Supports quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives

Facilitates staff orientation, training, and professional development

Promotes a culture of service excellence and patient-centered care

Serves as a clinical resource and professional role model for staff
Minimum Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
-
Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland or Compact State
-
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
-
Minimum of three (3) years of Acute Cardiac nursing experience
Preferred
-
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
-
Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience

Experience in cardiac or intermediate care settings
Pay Range: $39.47 - $61.20
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
