School LPN/LVN
Location: Craven County, NC Position: 1:1 School LPN/LVN Schedule: Weekdays, 38 hrs/week Contract Length: 9 months Start Date: August 24, 2026
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 School LPN/LVN to support in the Craven County School District. The nurse will monitor the student's health throughout the school day, provide g-tube feedings during meal times, and ensure all care aligns with LPN/LVN scope of practice and state education codes. The student's mother is on-site and supportive.
Responsibilities

Identify and address student health concerns

Promote wellness and provide basic health education

Support disease prevention efforts

Monitor physical condition throughout the school day

Provide g-tube feedings during scheduled meal times

Refer to appropriate healthcare resources as needed
Minimum Requirements
-
Active LPN/LVN license in North Carolina
-
Compliance with all professional standards of practice
-
1 year of school nursing experience (preferred)

1 year of pediatric experience (preferred)

Current CPR certification
-
TB screening (PPD or chest X-ray, if applicable)

Current health certificate (as required)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
