What You'll Do

Coordinate Care Efficiently

Schedule patient appointments accurately to maintain smooth clinic operations and optimal provider flow.

Be the Patient Connection

Manage incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, providing clear guidance and support.

Support Access to Care

Assist with insurance verification to ensure coverage and minimize delays in treatment.

Triage with Confidence

Assess patient needs, prioritize urgency, and direct individuals to the appropriate next step in their care journey.

Maintain Accurate Records

Document all patient interactions and updates promptly within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Collaborate Across the Team

Partner with providers and clinic staff to deliver seamless, high-quality urology care.

Uphold Quality & Compliance

Follow established protocols while ensuring patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance at all times.
What You BringRequired Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut
-
Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Strong skills in patient scheduling and workflow coordination

Excellent phone communication and multitasking abilities

Ability to triage patient needs and determine appropriate care pathways
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Epic EHR

Background in urology or specialty clinic settings

Experience in a busy outpatient environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Team-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
Work Environment

Fast-paced, collaborative urology clinic setting

Monday-Friday schedule, with flexibility for:

Standard 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), or
-
Four 10-hour workdays

Frequent patient interaction and coordination with both clinical and administrative teams

Ongoing use of Epic and other healthcare technologies
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr.
