Responsibilities
The Department of Emergency MedicineatDartmouth Healthis seeking an experiencedAdvanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)to join our team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered careon a per diem basis. In this dynamic setting, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute conditions for both adult and pediatric patients, including those in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) guided by evidence-based protocols.
A minimum of one year of direct APP experience in an acute,
urgent care, or emergency care setting is required.
You will be joining a highly functioning, collaborative Emergency Medicine team that values collegiality, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care. Our providers work closely together across disciplines in a supportive environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and continuous learning. The department is known for its strong culture of engagement, where APPs are fully integrated into clinical care and valued as key contributors to patient outcomes and departmental success.

Qualifications
Required Licensure/Certifications

Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRNs only)

Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH and VT

Eligible for Federal DEA Registration

BLS certification

ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as appropriate

At least one year of direct experience in an acute, urgent care, or emergency care setting
