The
Cardiac Clinic LPN provides specialized nursing care in a cardiology outpatient setting, supporting physicians and advanced practice providers in the management of cardiac patients. This role focuses on cardiac monitoring, patient education, and care coordination for individuals with cardiovascular conditions in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, infection control, and accurate documentation
- Provide patient care: vitals, cardiac assessments, meds, and EMR documentation
- Assist with cardiology procedures: EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors
- Room patients and collect cardiac histories (chest pain, SOB, hypertension)
- Perform cardiac triage calls and escalate concerns as needed
- Coordinate care: referrals, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
- Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes
Qualifications
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it current.
- IV certification upon hire.
