Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is seeking a PreOp/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients with various conditions and acuity levels undergoing various procedures including; but not limited to orthopedics, total joints, sports medicine, GYN, urology, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, and some spine.
Shift Details:
FT- Days. This position takes call. Callback response time is 30 minutes.

The Work:

Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Utilizes the nursing process

Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff

Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
Job Requirements
Applicable Experience:
1 year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
Associate Degree - Nursing
