Description:
Holy Cross Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking an experienced and collaborative RN Manager - Emergency Department (Evenings) to join our nursing leadership team.
This role is part of the Emergency Department leadership structure , responsible for 24/7 departmental oversight. The Evening RN Manager leads operations, clinical quality, and staff engagement during peak hours in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment .
The RN Manager functions as a Nurse Leader accountable for leading people, processes, and programs that support direct patient care while driving clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
What You Will Do
Operational Management

Lead evening shift Emergency Department operations , ensuring safe, efficient patient flow and throughput

Collaborate with physician leadership and fellow managers to ensure consistent 24/7 department performance

Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation aligned to volume and acuity
People Leadership

Hire, coach, and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders

Foster a high-performing, engaged team environment focused on collaboration and accountability
-
Support professional development, succession planning, and staff retention
-
Lead change initiatives and promote innovation in care delivery
Minimum Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-
Current RN license in Maryland
-
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
-
3-5 years Emergency Department clinical experience
-
Prior leadership experience (Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager)
Preferred Qualifications
-
MSN, MHA, or related advanced degree

Emergency Nursing Certification ( CEN )
-
Experience leading teams in high-volume ED or trauma center
Pay rate: $39.47- $61.20
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location .
