Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date
Assignment Information:
Is currently in need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Behavioral and Medical/Surgical nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population. RNs will be providing comprehensive care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders in a locked psychiatric unit. RNs are responsible for delivering direct patient care, including monitoring mental and physical status, administering medications, supporting therapeutic interventions, and maintaining patient and unit safety through continuous observation and adherence to security protocols.
