The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. They will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

Provide direct patient care for patients undergoing procedures in the imaging suite such as CT, MR, US, Radiography, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and Card Lab where applicable.

Assist physicians and technologists with patient preparation for procedures

Assists during procedures

Gather information. Responsible for appropriate labeling, handling, delivering and tracking of specimens from collection to reporting.
