How you'll make an impact in this role

Manage payer denials and appeals by reviewing technical denials, determining appeal eligibility, preparing appeal correspondence, and tracking outcomes to support reimbursement efforts.

Coordinate insurance carrier audit requests, respond to payer inquiries for medical records, and facilitate timely submission of required documentation.

Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to communicate audit and appeal findings, resolve claim issues, and support successful claim adjudication.

Conduct charge capture and documentation audits to improve reimbursement accuracy, identify revenue opportunities, and promote overall financial performance.

Office open 8AM-530PM Monday-Friday; Tier level requirements; Ideally looking for Monday and Friday availability and possible coverage for PTO requests.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
