Travel Pay:
Travel Rate (based on 32 hours): Hourly $21.61, Stipend (Lodging $770 + M&I $476) = $1246.00,
Total Comp :$1,937.52
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 70 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:
RN (Registered Nurse) - Job Responsibilities:

Provide first aid, emergency care, and medically prescribed nursing services to students.

Administer medications and maintain accurate medication administration records.
-
Train designated school staff on medication administration procedures and documentation requirements.

Maintain security and inventory of health supplies and medications.
-
Monitor student health needs and coordinate medical care with physicians, parents, and community agencies.

Record immunizations, health screenings, health findings, and other required medical documentation.

Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Develop Individual Health Care Plans (IHCPs) for students with medical conditions such as allergies and chronic illnesses.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and special education teams regarding student health needs and IEP-related services.

Provide health education and wellness support to students and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Current, valid, and unrestricted Illinois license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Knowledge of child development, medical and mental health conditions, and treatment approaches.

Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing school health services.

Ability to coordinate services among schools, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies.

Experience working with students with special education, behavioral, or mental health needs is preferred.

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,..)
