Job Title: Registered Nurse - InfusionJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a hybrid role, working both in our Columbia, MD infusion suite and as a Home Infusion Nurse. In this role, you will work directly with patients, performing various nursing duties such as intake, vitals, infusions, and injections, while ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
Responsibilities

Assess and document the health status of patients, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history.

Prepare patients for infusion or injection and deliver treatments according to prescribed protocols and guidelines.

Maintain a clean and disinfected environment after each patient use.

Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.

Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.

Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment side effects.

Collaborate with clinical and front desk staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Assist with audits and regulatory functions.

Communicate with referring/prescribing providers regarding order clarification, patient status, and plans of care.

Work at multiple facilities within the market as needed.

Provide care in patients' homes using systematic critical-thinking and nursing judgment.

Coordinate and manage aspects of infusion nursing care as ordered by the physician.

Submit required documentation of care within required time frames.

Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and communicate urgent clinical findings promptly.

Maintain privacy, security, and confidentiality of patient, staff, and organizational data.

Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong work ethics.

Travel to assigned territories as needed and be available for on-call responsibilities.

Excellent IV skills.

Experience and strong familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Proficiency with standard office software applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications.

Current, active, and in good standing registered nurse license in the state of employment.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of an Infusion Suite in Columbia, MD (90% of the time) and at-home infusion (10% of the time, as needed).

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $93600.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
- Insurance (starts on the first day of the month following the month the employee starts, 6/22 start = 7/1 insurance start) - PTO (earned by hour per pay period and usable once it is earned) - Paid Holidays - When driving for company business: o Mileage reimbursed at federal rate if driving personal vehicle o If routinely driving ~1800 miles/month, we can provide a company car and gas card. Maintenance is covered by company. (no mileage reimbursement unless it is your personal vehicle)
