Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse
Department: Anesthesiology
Shift’s Available: Days
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours: 8-hour shifts
Location: Harlingen Medical Center - Harlingen, Texas
**If you have experience as an LVN in the OR you are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Ordering and stocking of all anesthesia supplies
- Supplies are rotated and checked for expiration. The anesthesia storage area will be kept tidy and in proper order.
- Responsible for ensuring all anesthesia carts are stocked adequately in all O.R. rooms including O.B.
- Nurse will assist with induction, blocks, epidural and spinal anesthesia as needed.
Qualifications
1. High school Diploma or equivalent 2. Licensed Vocational Nurse for 1 year 3. Preferred operating room experience. 4. Current BLS (AHA) Certificate
