Start Dates: September 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with Extension Opportunities
Schedule: Must be flexible for all shifts and days. Overtime is frequent and often available.
Pay Package (Travel)
Total Weekly Gross: Up to $3,243/week

Taxable Rate: $41.00/hour

Housing Stipend: $959/week

Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $644/week

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for two contract opportunities within a state correctional facility in Clallam Bay, Washington. These roles offer the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to an underserved patient population while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
RNs will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a secure correctional environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and adaptable to varying schedules and patient needs.
Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Monitor and document patient progress and treatment plans

Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members

Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records

Follow facility policies, procedures, and security protocols

Provide patient education and support as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
-
Active Washington State RN License or compact/multistate license
-
Current BLS certification
-
Minimum of two years of RN experience required

Previous correctional, psychiatric, emergency, medical-surgical, or acute care experience is a plus

Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
-
Ability to pass required credentialing and background screening

Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
