Job Description
This Nurse Practitioner role focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in a clinical setting, with an emphasis on cardiology and primary care. You will perform detailed assessments, diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and completing diagnostic evaluations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with current clinical guidelines and best practices.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and health goals.

Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies to support accurate diagnosis and ongoing care.

Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases.

Provide preventive health services, including screenings, risk assessments, and patient education to promote wellness and early detection of disease.

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Florida regulations, scope of practice, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.

Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications to support effective self-management.

Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements in all aspects of patient care.

Use strong clinical judgment and medical terminology appropriately in patient care, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team.
Essential Skills

Active Florida Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license.

National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, ACNP, or related specialty).

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Experience working in cardiology and/or primary care settings.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for both acute and chronic conditions.

Proficiency in patient management, including developing and adjusting treatment plans.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Proficiency with medical terminology and use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Ability to follow and apply Florida regulations, organizational policies, and quality standards in daily practice.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Professional experience in primary care, cardiology, and/or internal medicine is highly beneficial.

Work Environment
This is a permanent Nurse Practitioner position based in a clinic setting in Hollywood, Florida. The role requires working onsite two days per week, with a consistent shift from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will practice in a professional healthcare environment that emphasizes collaboration, quality care, and patient education, using an electronic medical record (EMR) system and standard clinical equipment to support diagnostic and treatment activities. The setting is designed to support focused, patient-centered care in both cardiology and primary care, with a stable schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
