The Pediatric Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN),
under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse, Nursing Supervisor,
or Physician, participates in the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care
to pediatric patients. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary
healthcare team, the LPN/LVN implements assigned components of the plan of
care, observes and documents patient status and response to interventions,
communicates changes in condition, and provides nursing care appropriate to the
patient's age and developmental needs. The LPN/LVN practices in accordance with
organizational policies and procedures and within the scope of practice
established by the respective Board of Nursing.
Minimum Requirements:

Current LPN/LVN nursing license within the state ofassignment

Minimum of one year pediatric clinical experience within thelast three years preferred
-
Current PALS Card (per client and / or state requirement)
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
