Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse—Same Day Surgery will provide direction to professional and non-professional clinical personnel in providing direct patient care.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing required,
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital or an ambulatory surgery center
- Active and current NJ State professional Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)
- Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing and perform EKG (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)
- Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
