CSNF is currently recruiting a Oncology Registered Nurse - CAR-T for our busy Specialty Practice offering a GENEROUS SIGN-ON BONUS. The Oncology Registered Nurse – CAR-T provides specialized nursing care to patients receiving CAR-T therapy and bispecific antibodies in the outpatient clinic setting. This role involves infusion, patient monitoring, early toxicity recognition, care coordination, patient education, and escalation of care to manage complications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Educate patients/caregivers receiving CAR-T therapy on treatment, side effects, and post infusion care.
- Administer chemotherapy, CAR-T, and post-treatment infusions per protocol
- Monitor for adverse effects; coordinate labs and follow-ups
- Communicate patient status changes with care team
- Manage central lines (ports/CVCs)
- Provide weekend care as needed during the post‑infusion monitoring period for patients undergoing CAR‑T therapy.
- Travel to CSNF clinics to educate clinic staff on CAR-T/bispecific protocols and administer initial bispecific antibody doses when no active CAR-T patients.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Strong IV, assessment, triage, and patient education skills
- Self-directed learning (orientation, certifications, continuing education)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and/or Experience:
- Oncology/Chemotherapy infusion experience required
- CAR-T/cellular therapy or transplant experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Active Florida Registered Nursing License required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or BMTCN preferred
- Current ACLS or BLS certification required
