Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a member of our team you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and be part of a supportive, dynamic group. Our Medical Surgical Telemetry Ortho unit cares for a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. While we specialize in orthopedic, ortho trauma, and a small number of elective orthopedic cases, we also care for the general MST population. This patient mix allows for you to build on your education and experience by sharpening skills to care for a vast population.

Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.

Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.

Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.

Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.

Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.

Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements
Minimum:

ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent

Current AZ State RN License in good standing

One (1) year RN acute care experience

Current American Heart Association BLS
-
American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
- One year medical/surgical acute experience

$35.00 - $58.63 /hour
