Clinical Supervisor - RN (Recuperative Care)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing and support staff within a high-acuity recuperative care / medical respite program. This role is ideal for a strong leader passionate about serving vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness and co-occurring medical, behavioral health, and substance use conditions.
You'll play a critical role in shaping a client-centered, strengths-based care environment, while overseeing clinical operations, staff development, and medication management workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to nursing and support staff (team of up to 15)

Oversee medication management programs, including safe self-administration practices

Train and onboard new staff on clinical procedures, protocols, and patient care standards

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, best practices, and internal policies

Deliver hands-on patient care, including:

Intake assessments, vitals, and medical histories

Patient education and condition management

Venipuncture and immunizations (as applicable)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting high-acuity patients

Promote a culture of accountability, development, and high-quality care delivery
Qualifications

Active California RN License (required)

2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

Experience working with medical respite, behavioral health, or underserved populations strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of:

EMR/EHR systems

Medication administration and safety protocols

Clinical documentation and patient care standards

Background in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use care is a plus
Schedule

Monday - Friday, primarily 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Flexibility required:

Occasional early start (~6:00 AM) to support overnight/NOC team

Ability to adjust based on program needs

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $122000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
