Position Overview:
As a PACU RN, you will provide critical post-operative care, closely monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring safe, smooth transitions through recovery phases. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while delivering exceptional care and patient advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor patients post-surgery for vital signs, airway stability, and level of consciousness

Assess and manage pain, nausea, and other post-anesthesia symptoms

Respond rapidly to complications or changes in patient condition

Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders

Provide patient and family education on recovery and discharge instructions

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:

Active CA Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
PACU, ICU, or critical care experience strongly preferred
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS may be required depending on unit)

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay:
The anticipated wage for this position is between $84 to $89 . Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Pay Details: $84.00 to $89.00 per hour
