School Nurse (Credentialed / RN) - El Monte City School District ??
The El Monte City School District is seeking a School Nurse to provide district-level support across multiple school sites. This position is open to a Credentialed School Nurse or a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Preliminary School Nurse Credential and will cover the remainder of the 2025-26 school year , with the opportunity to extend into the 2026-27 school year .

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 2:30/3:00 PM

Setting: School-based | Multiple school sites

Pay: Negotiable based on experience and credentials
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students
-
Float between assigned school sites as needed
-
Administer medications and manage student health plans
-
Respond to student illnesses and emergencies

Maintain accurate health documentation
-
Collaborate with families, school staff, and district personnel
Requirements
-
CA School Nurse Credential or RN license with Preliminary School Nurse Credential

CPR/BLS certification
-
Ability to travel between school sites
-
School-based experience preferred
